SAP Finance Architect

SAP Finance Architect is required by my client a Leading SAP consultancy. We are looking for a good SAP Professional with proven expertise working on SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA, and data migration projects.  The role of the SAP Finance Architect will be do design and deliver complex finance transformation solutions for new and existing enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities for the SAP Finance Architect role:

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP Finance solutions aligned with business goals and best practices.
• Provide deep expertise in FI/CO modules, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Material Ledger.
• Define and oversee data migration strategies, technical specifications, and transformation rules.
• Drive adoption of NewGL, Account to Ledger, and currency conversion processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and migration.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and mentor to internal teams on SAP Finance topics.

Technical Expertise required for the SAP Finance Architect role:

• Proven experience with S/4HANA conversions (FINS_MIG_STATUS).
• In-depth understanding of Classic GL vs. NewGL and ECC vs. S/4HANA differences.
• Strong knowledge of key SAP FI/CO tables (BKPF, ACDOCA, BSEG, FAGLFLEXA, COSP/COSS).
• Skilled in ABAP debugging and data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC, MC).

Required

• Experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO), including financial processes and reporting.
• Proven record in NewGL adoption and S/4HANA transformation projects (greenfield/brownfield).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client engagement skills.

Ideal but not essentail

• SAP FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance certification.
• Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments.
