A Japanese consulting firm is currently recruiting a Business / IT Consultant to support large-scale transformation programmes for leading Japanese financial institutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on strategic business and technology transformation projects within the global corporate banking sector. You will partner with major Japanese banks, supporting business change, IT transformation, and process improvement initiatives while working closely with international stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver PMO, Business Analysis and Product Management services
• Lead IT transformation and business process re-engineering (BPR) projects
• Support initiatives across lending, capital markets, transaction banking, trade finance, settlements and core banking
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to deliver additional value
• Collaborate with internal consulting teams and delivery partners to ensure successful project execution
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and manage projects independently

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years' consulting or project delivery experience
• Experience delivering IT transformation or operational improvement projects
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel and other project management tools
• Good understanding of cloud technologies, AI and cybersecurity trends
• Business level English language skills

• End-to-end project lifecycle experience
• Experience in requirements gathering, UAT planning and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of corporate banking or capital markets projects
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or relevant IT certifications

Condition:

• Location: central London
• Working Style: hybrid (3–4 days in the office)
• Salary: negotiable (depending on experience)
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
• Start: ASAP
