Financial Systems Developer (C#.NET Engineer)
A leading Japanese IT company with a central London office is seeking a C#.NET Developer for its Financial Systems Team.
They welcome candidates with knowledge of banking, securities, or insurance operations, and experience developing with C#.NET. Ideal candidates have led enhancements, maintenance, or improvements of existing systems. This position is especially suitable for those with hands-on experience in financial system development or financial IT consulting.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial systems (banking, securities, insurance)
- Develop applications using C#.NET
- Design, manage, and optimise databases such as SQL Server
- Propose and implement improvements or new functionalities for existing systems
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
Ideal Candidate:
- Development experience with C#.NET (3+ years preferred)
- Experience with SQL and database operations
- Knowledge of financial systems or financial operations (e.g., payments, settlements, reporting) is a plus
- Team development experience (familiarity with version control tools such as Git)
- Business-level English or above
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Professional experience in the financial industry
- Web API development experience (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Development experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
Condition:
- Location: central London
- WORK STYLE: hybrid style
- Salary: up to £60,000, depending on experience
- Job Type: full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of renewal or transition to a permanent position based on performance
- Working Hours: 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday
- Start: negotiable
