An established interactive entertainment company based in West London is currently looking for a Business Analysis Manager.
You will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Planning team in strengthening the company's analytical capabilities, with a focus on developing expertise in pricing, geography, demographics, and product features across the game portfolio.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualisation, and experience in business or financial analysis, particularly within the Entertainment/gaming industry. Fluency in Japanese in essential.

Business Analysis Manager Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the business analysis function within Corporate Planning, managing and developing a small team of analysts
- Conduct detailed analyses of market trends, pricing strategies, demographics, geographic performance, and product features
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic, commercial, and financial planning
- Develop and maintain analytical frameworks to evaluate business performance and identify growth opportunities
- Ensure high accuracy and consistency in data interpretation and presentation
- Prepare and deliver regular analytical reports, dashboards, and performance reviews for senior management
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics across regions and products
- Conduct variance analysis and evaluate trends to support planning, forecasting, and performance reviews
- Support the preparation of strategic and financial presentations for management meetings
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to integrate analytical findings into strategic initiatives
- Provide analytical support for pricing decisions, product launches, and regional market strategies
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of forecasting and planning tools
- Support cross-functional projects requiring detailed data analysis and scenario modelling
- Act as the principal liaison between the European Corporate Planning team and the Japanese headquarters
- Ensure alignment of analysis and reporting standards across regions
- Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between European and Japanese teams to support unified business strategies
- Provide clear and concise updates to senior management on ongoing analytical work and insights
Business Analysis Manager Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or corporate planning, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, market research, and business performance analysis
- High level of proficiency in analytical and visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and financial modelling techniques
- Solid grasp of data interpretation, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Experience collaborating across regions or international offices; familiarity with Japanese business culture a distinct advantage.
- Experienced in preparing management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders
- Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline (Master's or professional qualification advantageous)
- Video games industry knowledge and interest in market and product dynamics
- Business level fluency in both English and Japanese
