The Senior Domain Architect holds the primary strategic technology relationships across Centrica B2C businesses, acting as a trusted advisor who shapes and maintains cross-portfolio technology roadmaps, sets architectural direction, and identifies future capability needs. Operating with a forward-looking, strategically focused mandate, the role establishes a clear architectural vision for the domain and ensures this vision is translated into executable direction across change initiatives. Day to day, the architect partners closely with Product and Platform engineering leaders to influence priorities, align technology decisions to business outcomes, and maintain coherence across the technology estate. They own and evolve the reference architectures, and target states, providing guidance and trade-off analysis that informs delivery. They drive governance, manage architectural risk, and ensure alignment with security, regulatory, and strategic platform standards.
