Structured Cabling Engineer – Ongoing Project Work
Day rate:
£150 PAYE
£192 Self-Employed
Must be available on a full time basis, in-hours, Monday-Friday
We’re looking for a team of Cabling Engineers to join a large, ongoing project with one of our customers. We need people who can start as soon as possible.
This is a field-based role, so you’ll need your own vehicle and be happy to travel to different sites across your region (sometimes multiple sites per day).
What you’ll be doing:
- Visiting customer sites and completing jobs to agreed service levels
- Tasks could include anything from swapping out a patch lead or re-wiring a till, through to larger works such as supporting construction teams with cabling for external kiosks
- Managing and carrying a tote box of parts/materials (supplied by the client) and reporting stock used so it can be replenished
- Logging and managing all work tickets via an online portal
Client Specific Training provided:
- Two online courses (4–6 hours each)
- A 3-day, in-person training course (training time, travel, and accommodation all paid)
Requirements:
- Previous field experience is ideal, but trainees will be considered (full training provided)
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
- Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
Job details:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (day shifts)
- Paid the fixed daily rate (regardless of number of jobs completed, but must remain available throughout the day)
