Security & Resilience Consultant
Security & Resilience Consultant Certain Advantage is hiring for a Security & Resilience Consultant based in Swindon.This role is on an initial 6-month contract and is hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite. The company: We’re working with a major public sector body that brings together the UK’s research councils to create the best possible environment for research and innovation to flourish.The role: We’re looking for an experienced consultant that is hands-on and can focus on operational delivery, standardisation, and audit-readiness .Key deliverables include:
- Designing a maturity framework covering Physical Security, Personnel Security, Travel Risk Management, and Business Continuity.
- Mapping framework for relevant legislation.
- Developing audit-ready templates and processes aligned to ISO and BSI standards where practicable.
- Delivering an initial round of audits, establishing peer-to-peer maturity scoring and metrics dashboards.
- Supporting the companies Departmental Security Health Check (DSHC) submission.
- Training stakeholders across the UKRI network and delivering workshops to embed new processes.
- Creating scalable, repeatable models for annual audits and continuous improvement.
- Providing strategic recommendations
- Experience delivering S&R maturity models in complex federated environments.
- Proven audit design and delivery skills.
- ISO Lead Implementer qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of GovS 007 and the DSHC.
