GovernmentNetwork Engineer (DV Cleared)Duration: 6 MonthsLocation: Milton KeynesRate: £650 per dayIR35 Status: InsideStart: ASAPA Senior Network Engineer (DV Cleared) is required for our Government Client to support various tiered systems and support a wider team of skilled technicians supporting various Goverment platforms and services.You will also support business as usual (BAU) and project deliverables where required.As the Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on high availability, performance, and resilience. This role provides advanced technical leadership across routing, switching, firewall administration, and network security operations. You will act as an escalation point for complex issues involving Cisco switching platforms, Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD), and Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewalls, Catepan encryption devices.Essential Skills & Experience required:To possess current DV Level Security Clearance *essential*Experience in support and design in highly secure airgapped environments.Cisco Switching, Routing technologiesNetwork Security technologies - IPsec, SSL, VPNs, PKICisco Firepower/ASA Firewall installation and AdministrationPalo Alto Firewalls/Panorama installation and administration.Knowledge of NSX-T platformKnowledge of Virtual Environments and virtual network solutions,(e.g.
