Hybrid Working - 2nd Line Support Engineer Required
Our prestigious London based client seeks an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer with the following must have skills and experience:
Min of 3 years of commercial 1st- 2nd Line Support experience
- Support areas include computers, smart phones, telephony and audio/visual equipment. In addition to user support,
- The IT Executive will be expected to carry out project and infrastructure work as required, as well as basic training / inductions of new users.
- The role is expected to comprise of 80% support / 20% project work.
Essential Skills
- Windows 10 / 11
- Troubleshooting various desktop issues
- Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2 / 2016
- Basic Apple Products Support
- Administration of Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Azure
- Active Directory
- Basic Networking (IP addressing/routing)
- Basic Security (Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Email Security)
- Audio Visual Support (Hybrid Meeting Rooms)
- Telephone system administration
Desirable
- VMware Administration Advanced Networking (VLANs, ACLs, CLI)
- Advanced Security (CheckPoint Firewall, Endpoint, Email)
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be eligible to live and work in the UK without any restrictions
