Change Digital are recruiting on behalf of our highly successful financial organisation based in the heart of Glasgow or Edinburgh to Join their forward thinking IT department and help shape the future of cyber security across the organisation.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join a collaborative, ambitious, and innovation‐driven IT Networking & Security team. You’ll work with industry leading technologies, drive strategic cyber projects, and play a key role in strengthening our security posture across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will:

• Act as the Cyber Security SME on cross discipline projects
• Lead technical scoping, vendor selection, design, and implementation
• Plan and deliver work via Azure DevOps across projects and BAU
• Serve as a technical lead and escalation point for cyber requests
• Research and recommend new technologies and improvements
• Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge across the team
• Drive efficiency through automation
• Build strategic relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Support ISO27001 initiatives and ongoing accreditation

What You’ll Bring

• A genuine passion for cyber security and emerging technologies
• Experience implementing and supporting security infrastructure
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for teamwork
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
