IT Security Operations (SOC) Manager / Cyber (Manchester Area)

We’re seeking an experienced SOC Manager to lead and develop an established, talented cyber team safeguarding a complex digital estate.

What will you be doing?

• Leading and inspiring an established SOC team
• Developing meaningful KPIs and driving service improvement
• Shaping and evolving SOC strategy and tooling
• Enhancing incident response, threat detection, and vulnerability management
• Managing and engaging third-party suppliers and driving accountability
• Aligning security with wider organisational goals

What will you need to demonstrate to be successful?

• Proven hands-on SOC leadership in complex environments
• Best in class communication and engagement skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other key platforms
• A strategic mindset with an eye for operational excellence and professionalism
