Technical Presales Consultant – IBM Storage Scale (GPFS)

Leading IBM Partner | Fully Remote | £550/day ( Inside IR35 )

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Presales Consultant who can design and adapt both simple and complex architectures using IBM’s storage and HPC portfolio. You’ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to shape scalable, high-performance solutions that deliver real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Design and present HPC & Storage architectures using IBM best practices

Collaborate with sales teams to define and deliver tailored client solutions

Create technical documentation and configurations using IBM tools

Support presales activities and customer engagements from end to end

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong experience with IBM technologies such as:

• IBM Storage Scale (GPFS), Lustre, ICOS, S3, Open Ceph, IBM Ceph Appliance, IBM Fusion, RHEL OpenShift
• IBM Flash Systems (FS9500, FS7300, FS5300, FS5045)
• ✅ Familiarity with IBM tools like e-config
• ✅ Knowledge of IBM Storage Protect (TSM) , IBM Defender , Tape Libraries (TS4500, TS4300), SKLM/GKLM , DiamondBack , and VTLs (e.g., FalconStor)
• ✅ Bonus: Understanding of zoning , IBM Cloud integrations, and related components

Day Rate: ~£550 (open to negotiation based on experience)

Location: Fully Remote
