Overview
We are working with a well-established organisation that is seeking an experienced Sage X3 Support Consultant to lead their ERP support function.
This is a key role within the business, working closely with the Head of IT to ensure the smooth operation, support, and continuous improvement of the Sage X3 system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Sage X3 support team
- Act as the primary point of contact for Sage X3-related issues and escalations
- Provide hands-on functional and technical support across the system
- Work closely with the Head of IT to align ERP support with wider business strategy
- Manage incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
- Liaise with third-party vendors and stakeholders where required
- Ensure documentation, processes, and support standards are maintained and improved
- Deliver user training and support where necessary
Key Requirements
- Proven experience supporting Sage X3 in a commercial environment
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a support team
- Strong understanding of ERP systems
- Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and system support
- Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or Sage X3 4GL is advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
