Overview

We are working with a well-established organisation that is seeking an experienced Sage X3 Support Consultant to lead their ERP support function.

This is a key role within the business, working closely with the Head of IT to ensure the smooth operation, support, and continuous improvement of the Sage X3 system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Sage X3 support team
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Sage X3-related issues and escalations
  • Provide hands-on functional and technical support across the system
  • Work closely with the Head of IT to align ERP support with wider business strategy
  • Manage incident resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and stakeholders where required
  • Ensure documentation, processes, and support standards are maintained and improved
  • Deliver user training and support where necessary

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting Sage X3 in a commercial environment
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a support team
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems
  • Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and system support
  • Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, or Sage X3 4GL is advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
