UX/UI Designer (Contract Shopify)

Role Description
This role for a Design Contractor specialising in Shopify for a project. The Design Contractor will work on designing and delivering visually striking and user-friendly ecommerce websites within the Shopify ecosystem. Day-to-day tasks include populating the shopify theme with the clients assets; note, image generation or stock imagery may be needed. Designer may be required to build out bespoke sections for shopify in figma for a developer to build out.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in web and UI/UX design principles, with experience in designing for Shopify
- Strong skills in Figma
- Understanding of ecommerce design and familiarity with best practices in creating high-converting designs
- Knowledge of branding and ability to create designs in alignment with client brand guidelines
- Experience in collaboration with developers and teams to see projects through from concept to launch
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Proficiency in responsive design and mobile-first design approaches
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in the Shopify ecosystem and familiarity with Shopify Plus is a strong advantage
