Support Coordinator
Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with an established and innovative business within the fenestration sector to recruit an experienced Support Coordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Coordinator with a genuine window and door installation background and strong customer service skills to join a specialist team supporting customers with software and system-related enquiries.
The Opportunity
As a Support Coordinator, you will be a key point of contact for customers, helping to resolve technical and operational queries while working closely with internal teams.
The ideal candidate will have previously worked as a window and door installer and have a strong understanding of the practical challenges faced by installation companies. You will use this hands-on experience to understand customer problems, troubleshoot issues and provide practical solutions.
This is not a general customer service role an installer background within the fenestration industry is essential.
Main Duties
- Act as a first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and support tickets.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries, using your practical installation knowledge to identify solutions.
- Work closely with technical and training teams to resolve more complex issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records and provide regular updates on ongoing support cases.
- Assist with software testing, quality assurance and new system releases.
- Help improve processes and customer support within the department.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a window and door installer is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the fenestration/windows and doors industry.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving problems.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple queries.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Keen to develop knowledge of software and technical systems.
Experience with Business Micros, Window Designer, Evolution, Business Pilot or similar industry software would be advantageous.
