ICT Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking 2 dedicated and skilled ICT Infrastructure Support Specialists to join our dynamic team in in DSFS delivering IT Infrastructure support to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Main duties of the job
Under the guidance of the ICT Infrastructure Support Lead the role provides technical support on all aspects of the Trust's IT infrastructure.
Participate in the management, deployment, maintenance and support of the Trust's network, servers, desktop management and telecommunications infrastructure;
Undertake regular monitoring and checks for the IT network and infrastructure, identifyingany patterns.
Undertake Cyber Security tasks, including but not limited to, patching, security monitoring,responding to CareCerts and Security Alerts.
Participate in the planning process for technical projects and on-going operationalmanagement of the Trust's IT infrastructure;
Research, evaluate, requisition, install and troubleshoot hardware and software to meetdefined objectives;
Participate in the administration of the Trust's database platforms;

Qualifications and Training
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- Evidence of further education, or continuing professional development ideally in a relevant field
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- ICT Related Qualification (e.g. MCSA or CCNA)
Experience
- Previous experience of working with a SME IT infrastructure and systems environment
- Evidence of having previously written operational processes/ procedures
- Evidence of having previously contributed to disaster contingency and business continuity planning
- NHS experience
- Project Management of a successful small ICT related implementation
- Experience with on call rota's ITSM
