Media Platform Engineer

Reference: 8522Our client is looking for a technically capable Media Platform Engineer to join their growing Content Management team in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a modern cloud-based Production Asset Management (PAM) platform, supporting media workflows from production through post-production while helping shape the future of a highly collaborative and technology-driven environment. You'll work closely with production, editorial and post-production teams, maintaining and improving media workflows, developing Python-based integrations, optimising AWS cloud infrastructure, and providing technical support across the business.

Key responsibilitiesManage and optimise media workflows across the PAM environmentMaintain and develop Python-based workflow automationMonitor cloud storage and compute performance within AWSSupport media ingest, metadata management and cloud asset retrievalProvide first-line technical support to internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve workflows, automation and system performanceHelp maintain secure, scalable and efficient media platformsWe're looking for someone withExperience within media asset management, production technology or similar environmentsPython scripting knowledgeStrong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skillsExperience with AWS or cloud technologiesKnowledge of media workflows, codecs and production environmentsA proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to continuously improve systemsThe role is full time on site position based in London.
