The Role
Youll work directly with senior leadership to design, develop, and deliver AI solutions across the business. This includes hands on engineering, stakeholder engagement, and contributing to responsible AI practices. There is also a clear development pathway into a future Lead AI position.
What Youll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering AI powered solutions, including generative AI models
- Engineering and preparing data for AI model development
- Integrating AI models into existing tech and cloud infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with data protection and sector regulations
- Translating complex AI concepts into clear language for non technical teams
- Identifying innovation opportunities across the business
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting best practice
- Strong senior level software engineering experience
- Hands on experience building AI or ML solutions
- Data engineering and feature engineering experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of solutions
- Confident communicator and collaborator
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Understanding of ethical AI, risk management, and responsible deployment
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- AI or ML related certifications
- £60,000 salary
