SC Cleared VMware Aria Ops Consultant

We are seeking an experienced VMware Aria Ops (Vrops) to work alongside the Monitoring Team to optimise the existing monitoring environment and improve operational effectiveness.

The role is hands-on, focusing on dashboard configuration, event correlation, alert optimisation and operational workflows rather than tool implementation or high-level consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimise operational monitoring dashboards.
• Configure event filtering, correlation and alerting to reduce monitoring noise.
• Develop service-based monitoring views.
• Define and improve event triage, prioritisation and escalation workflows.
• Enhance monitoring usability to support incident response and operational decision-making.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to the Monitoring Team.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with VMware Aria Operations and Aria Operations for Logs
• Strong knowledge of VMware monitoring, dashboards, alert definitions and event management
• Experience with event correlation, alert noise reduction and service health monitoring.
• Understanding of IT operations, incident management and event triage processes.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into effective monitoring configurations.
• Must hold active SC Clearance

• Duration: 6 weeks

• Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week

• Location: Remote
