Solution Architecture Lead
Location: Remote – Work from Home
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architecture Lead to provide architectural leadership across a complex enterprise technology landscape. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic technology professional to take ownership of end-to-end solution architecture across a range of business-critical platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, software vendors, delivery partners, and internal teams, you will act as the architectural authority across the organisation's technology estate and, over time, lead a team of Solution Leads and Integration Specialists.
As Solution Architecture Lead, you will be:
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture across Workday, Dynamics 365 (F&O and Project Operations), and integrated business systems.
- Define and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, High-Level Designs (HLDs), and governance documentation.
- Provide architectural leadership, ensuring all solution changes are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support programme delivery, coordinating technical decisions across stakeholders, suppliers, and partners while managing risks and dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement, overseeing BAU support, security, data governance, compliance, and future technology innovation.
As a Solution Architecture Lead, you will have:
- Significant experience in Solution Architecture within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise application, cloud and integration architecture solutions.
- Extensive understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs and interconnected business systems.
- Experience producing High-Level Designs (HLDs) and reviewing detailed technical designs.
- Previous experience leading, mentoring and developing technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working with third-party software vendors, implementation partners and managed service providers.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-focused manner.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with Workday HR and Payroll.
- Knowledge of enterprise integration technologies and middleware platforms.
- Exposure to AI technologies, Microsoft AI Services or enterprise AI programmes.
- Experience operating within architecture governance frameworks and technology assurance processes.
