Role Description

This is a full-time Technical Installation Engineer role, operating across home, office, and customer sites , with regular travel across the UK and occasional international travel as required.

The Technical Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of professional Audio-Visual systems. The role involves full participation in onsite installation activities, from first and second fix through to system handover, ensuring all works meet Cinos internal standards and customer expectations.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients, and manufacturers to deliver high-quality AV installations, support technical design decisions, assist with escalations where required, and contribute to continuous improvement across AV delivery.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience installing professional AV systems
  • At least 12 months’ experience specifically configuring and commissioning AV equipment
  • Strong on-site implementation experience, applying technical training across multiple AV disciplines
  • Experience working to detailed technical documentation and project drawings
  • Ability to deliver installations to high standards while meeting deadlines

Technical Skills & Certifications

  • AVIXA CTS qualification (or actively working towards)
  • Commitment to completing CTS-I
  • Strong experience with Crestron DM & NVX and Crestron Toolbox
  • Experience with Biamp Tesira , Q-SYS , and Dante Level 1 (Level 2 desirable)
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms deployment experience
  • e.g. Crestron Flex, Crestron Mercury, Poly, Logitech
  • Zoom Integration Certification (desirable)
  • Experience deploying Cisco video conferencing endpoints
