IT School Technician - Eastbourne - £30K (Onsite)The OpportunityI'm working with one of the UK's biggest MSP's to look for an experienced IT School Technician near Eastbourne. The IT School Technician will troubleshoot and resolve first and second line issues for a couple of schools close to Eastbourne.
You will have excellent stakeholder management experience on top of extensive experience with windows server, networking, Microsoft and mobile device management technologies. This is a strong next step for someone with school-based IT support experience who wants to develop technically and gain exposure to more advanced systems. Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDeliver first and second-line IT support to staff and studentsTroubleshoot desktop, hardware, software, and network issuesManage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365Support Windows 10/11 environments across multiple sitesMaintain school networks, wireless connectivity, and IT equipmentAssist with server administration and infrastructure projectsBuild strong relationships with school stakeholders and end usersKey SkillsPrevious IT support experience in a school or the education industryStrong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365Networking experience: switches, routers, LAN/WAN, wireless technologiesExcellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staffExperience with virtualised environments (VMware, vSphere, or similar) is highly desirableWhat's on OfferOptional company vanCompany pension scheme25 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 28 days with service)Option to purchase additional leaveStructured training & clear career development pathApply NowIf you're an IT professional with school support experience, looking for variety, progression, and exposure to enterprise technology - I'd love to hear from you.
