Data Protection Officer - High Wycombe - Up to £30K Pro Rata - 9 month Fixed-term contract (Part-time)
I am looking for a Data Protection Officer with a GDPR legislation background on a 9 month FTC contracts with potential to go permanent. The Data Protection Officer will be the SME and will lead and oversee the companies data protection strategy and compliance framework. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its obligations under UK GDPR, and STAIR's legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the SME on GDPR and Data Protection queries
- Making sure all GDPR policies and Procedures are up to date
- Manage subject access request processes
- Deliver data protection training across different departments in the organisation.
Key Skills
- GDPR Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Data Governance/Data Protection
- Experience with ISO 27001 and other information security standards are beneficial
- Previous experience developing and implementing data protection frameworks, conducting audits/risk assessments and managing data breaches and incident response

- Excellent communication skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management with technical and non-technical departments
