Global Process Owner

Role: Global Process Owner Salary/Rate: £71-81 per hour inside IR35 Location: Hybrid London/ReadingContract Duration: 12-months

We are currently looking for a Global Process Owner (P2P) for our government client.

This Global Process Owner (P2P) role is hybrid, based between 2 days per week on site and the remainder of the week working remotely. There is no flexibility with the time expected on site. Office locations include central London or Aldermaston, near Reading, as preferred, with additional occasional on-site meetings as required. This position will eventually relocate to Green Park, Reading.

The contract for the Global Process Owner position is for 12-months, with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Essential skills/experience required:

• 5+ years' product management experience (ideally SaaS/digital - Jaggaer)
• Deep understanding of UX & user-centred design
• Direct experience with Jaggaer or similar procurement/commercial systems
• Experience in transformation programmes
• Excellent communication & presentation
• Commercial transformation in immature workflow/process environments
• Analytical & problem-solving
• Excellent writing & editing
• Able to conduct/analyse user research & usability tests
• Prioritisation & decision-making under pressure
• Complex process mapping & engineering
• Proven track record in product delivery, especially content/process transformation
• Experience collecting, distilling & prioritising user requirements across numerous stakeholders and personas
• Working with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated experience building and delivering a product or digital roadmap
• Ability to define/report on KPIs
• Post-launch optimisation & continuous improvement
• Maintaining content guidelines and best practices
• Strong leadership & interpersonal skills
• Mentoring and developing teams
• Familiarity with content delivery across multiple mediums
• Comfortable in Agile environments
• Formal Agile, product or project management certification (Scrum, Prince2, PMP, etc.) - desirable
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt level or higher) - desirable
• Awareness of compliance/governance in digital systems is beneficial

Role/responsibilities:

• Step into a high-pressure environment to provide leadership, clarity, and structure to both the system and team.
• Take full ownership of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) product and process, driving strategic improvements.
• Lead process improvement and content strategy initiatives, with a focus on digital procurement systems.
• Apply strong product management expertise to deliver transformation and optimise user experience.
• Post-launch, ensure continuous improvement and performance optimisation of the system.
• Mentor and develop team members to build capability and resilience.
• Oversee content delivery across multiple formats and channels.
• Maintain and enforce content guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
