We are seeking a SOC Manager for our Government client on a remote basis. There may be some travel if the business needs it. The SOC Manager role will be an initial 6 month contract paying between £750 - £850/Day Inside IR35.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile:

• Experienced SOC Manager * Strategic in nature, need to understand where they're and where they are going. Effective in deploying resources * Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team * In-depth knowledge of incident management processes * Proven experience delivering an effective security monitoring capability * Proven experience delivering threat intelligence and assessment * Proven experience operating cyber security solutions and tools * Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with external vendors, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and technology partners Desirable: * CISSP, CISM or equivalent professional cybersecurity certification * Experience with Cloud Security (AWS, Azure) * ITIL Foundation (or equivalent) service management qualification
