Embedded Software Engineer

The role involves developing C/C++ and Python code that runs on Zephyr RTOS. Specific experience with Zephyr itself isn't essential, but candidates must have deep, hands-on experience with at least one other RTOS, be up-to-date with modern coding techniques and ideally come from a computer science background.

RATE: Up to £65ph

DURATION: 6 months

START: ASAP

IR35: Outside

LOCATION: Remote with very infrequent travel to site (Cheltenham)

Skills required for the role are:

• C / C++ & Python expertise
• Deep knowledge of RTOS (BSPs, kernel dev, drivers, power management etc)
• Modern coding languages / techniques
• Computer science background or interest

Beneficial skills would be:

• Zephyr RTOS
• Medical device industry exposure
• BLE / Bluetooth / IoT industry exposure
