Microsoft Azure Senior Technical Consultant

The role of Senior Technical Consultant (L 6) within Cisilion Professional Services is to consult, design, plan and implement technical projects. To work closely with the Principal Technical Consultants, Presale Architects, and other teams as required. The Senior Technical Consultant will also support the Sales and Solutions teams to provide the technical expertise required to close sales opportunities and propose the current plan to better serve our customers. This will typically involve, technical presentations, solution demonstrations, solution design/configuration, proposals, bid response documentation, Statement of Work creation, HLD and LLD documentation . All colleagues must be eligible for Security Clearance and always adhere to Cisilion policies and GDPR best practices .

Knowledge & Experience

• Lead technically showcasing expertise in Azure infrastructure IaaS and PaaS services, with a focus on virtual machines, virtual networking, Azure SQL, Azure Policy, Cloud Adoption Framework, Well Architected framework and Landing Zones and able to spot opportunities for upselling across Cisilion’s product portfolio.

• Possess a proven track record and Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (BICEP), PowerShell, ARM templates and deployment via Azure DevOps.

• Demonstrate extensive experience in designing and validating solutions built on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 across a variety of sectors, taking lessons learnt from each project and incorporating them into future work to ensure continuous development and improvement and being able to drive Azure transformation for key customers.

• Have a thorough understanding of on - premises technologies, including Active Directory, SCCM, Exchange, Windows Server , and DNS, along with a comprehensive knowledge of Entra ID. Able to articulate customer requirements into High and Low Level Designs

• Ability to apply Microsoft best practices, with knowledge of both the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well - Architected Framework (WAF) and Azure Landing Zones.

• In- depth knowledge of other Microsoft technologies (M365 E3/E5, including but not limited to identity (Entra ID), Security (Defender), Compliance (Purview) , End point Management (Intune) , Active Directory,

• Maintain industry - recognised professional - level technical relevance through project delivery, vendor certifications, technical training, vendor relationships, and industry participation.

• Exhibit exceptional skills in time management, planning, and communication.

• Demonstrate extensive commercial awareness, safeguarding Cisilion's interests in professional services delivery.

• Showcase comprehensive knowledge and experience of technical infrastructure hardware, software, and solutions.

• Deliver quality, consistency, and excellence while continuously striving for improvement.

• Bring prior experience from IT services organisations, IT channels, or value-added resellers
