Our client, a global Investment Bank, is seeking a Murex Front Office Business Analyst / Configurator to join on a 6-month initial contract. This role involves configuring and optimising the Murex platform to support front office operations, including trade execution, pricing, and risk management. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across front office, IT, and compliance teams to ensure system stability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Configure and maintain Murex front office functionalities, ensuring system optimisation.
- Provide functional and technical expertise as part of second and third line support.
- Implement and support changes related to trade execution, pricing, and risk management.
- Support regulatory change implementation and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Refine business requirements from stakeholders and translate into functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies for new initiatives.
- Develop and execute test plans, including system, integration, and UAT.
- Collaborate with front office, IT, and vendors; provide training and support to users.
- Identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
- Stay up to date with developments in Murex and front office operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Deep understanding of Murex architecture and front office modules.
- Extensive experience configuring Murex (trade capture, pricing models, order management, risk tools).
- Strong knowledge of MxML workflows, data mapping, scripting, and integration.
- Experience with pricing curves, hedge curves, simulation views, pricing templates, and datamart reporting.
- Knowledge of EOD/GOM processes.
- Proven experience with regulatory implementation in front office operations.
- Ability to optimise Murex performance for large-scale, real-time processing.
- Strong integration and automation skills across Murex and other systems.
- Hands-on experience with trade lifecycle events, market data integration, and risk analysis.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
