City Elite are working with a leading financial services firm who are seeking a Solace specialist to support mission-critical messaging infrastructure for real-time trading systems.

Must Have:

• 3+ years Solace PubSub+ administration with hands-on experience
• Proven experience configuring Solace environments (VPNs, bridges, queues, topics, client profiles)
• Strong troubleshooting skills - diagnosing message delivery issues, persistence problems, and routing failures
• Experience upgrading and patching Solace appliances and software brokers in production
• Ability to build and deploy Solace infrastructure from scratch (appliance setup, redundancy configurations)
• Log analysis expertise - reviewing Solace logs, identifying anomalies, and performing root cause analysis
• 24/7 production support experience in enterprise environments
• WAN/distributed systems expertise across multi-region deployments
• Proficiency with Prometheus/Grafana (or equivalent monitoring tools like Geneos, Splunk)
• Strong Linux/scripting skills (Bash/Python)
• Financial services background preferred

The Role:

• Administer Solace appliances/brokers (on-prem & cloud)
• Production support, incident response, root cause analysis
• System monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning
• WAN optimization for low-latency messaging
• Automation and documentation
