#BelongWithUs Come and join us as a focused and results-driven Data Quality & Insights Manager and be part of a hugely successful and friendly Commercial Data Management team.The Role: As our Data Quality & Insights Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of Data Analysts and Administrators. You'll be responsible for ensuring overall product data quality and accuracy by leveraging advanced automation and AI-driven processes to maintain high-integrity data assets, while providing expert human oversight. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to proactively manage data workflows with human-verified precision.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a permanent team of 3 Data Analysts and Administrators (with temporary flex for projects), leveraging AI tools to maintain data workflows.Data Quality Framework: Establish, maintain, and enforce comprehensive data quality frameworks, guidelines, and standards across the organisation using automation and AI-driven cleansing, standardisation, and enrichment.Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Continuously build, improve, and proactively report on data quality processes, collaborating across teams to resolve data issues in a timely and effective manner.Tool Evaluation & Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement market-leading AI/ML automation platforms and technologies to support all data quality initiatives.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely alongside business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to understand technical data requirements and ensure data quality meets business needs.Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing monitoring, analysis, and optimisation of data management practices to boost overall efficiency.This is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our offices in Crick, Northamptonshire.You: You’ll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an innovative and agile approach to problem-solving.  You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Data team and you’ll thrive on delivering excellent data deliverySkills and competencies Qualifications: Relevant certifications in data management or data quality (e.g., CDMP, CIQM) are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.Technical Experience: 5+ years of experience in data processing or a related field, with proven experience implementing automation and AI for data profiling, cleansing, and standardisation.Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in AI-driven data automation tools, understanding of machine learning principles, and exceptional capabilities in SQL, spreadsheets, and other data analysis tools. (Experience with Google applications is a plus).Governance & Standards: A strong understanding of data quality principles, data governance processes, industry standards, and familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.Industry Knowledge: Prior knowledge or experience working within market-leading Plumbing & Heating businesses is preferred.It is likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets:Data Quality Manager, Data Insights Manager, Automation Data Manager, Lead Data Analyst, Data Governance Manager, AI Data Automation Lead - Retail, Distribution, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Plumbing & Heating.Us: From boilers to bathroom suites, tubing to towel rails and everything in between, City Plumbing has all the products our customers need to complete the job.
