Apprentice IT PMO Officer

Role

Main Duties & Responsibilities

The Role: As a PMO Apprentice, you will:

  • Assist in organising meetings and ensuring timely submission of documents.
  • Review documents related to processes, budgets, dependencies, and pipeline.
  • Take minutes, chase actions, and provide updates.
  • Learn and shadow PMO processes, systems, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to business change and analysis under the guidance of the PMO.
  • Support project managers in coordinating project activities.
  • Work with project managers to accurately populate our Project 4 the Web online tool.
  • Create and manage project dashboards via Power BI.

Training

You will be supported to achieve the Improvement Technician Level 3 apprenticeship. Theoretical training will be delivered  with the support of the training provider. Practical training and support will be given in the workplace allowing you to embed your learning in the working environment. You will receive hours 6 per week to support with your apprenticeship studies. 

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, we aim to offer a permanent role within the team if a position is available. Alternatively, we shall endeavour to secure an alternative position within the City of London Corporation.
