The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth across workplace design and fit-out projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities within target sectors
- Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Developing relationships with key decision-makers including occupiers, landlords, agents, and project managers
- Leading pitches, presentations, and proposal submissions
- Collaborating closely with design and project delivery teams to ensure a seamless client journey
- Attending industry events, networking functions, and representing the business in the market
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Proven track record in business development within workplace interiors, fit-out, commercial design, or a related sector
- Strong network within the property, workplace, or construction industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Commercially astute with the ability to close deals and deliver against targets
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Passion for design, sustainability, and creating impactful workspaces
- Competitive salary of around £55,000
