The Role
The Supplier Finance Manager is responsible for managing and optimising supplier financial relationships, ensuring contracts, payments, and financial controls are delivered in line with regulatory, compliance, and business objectives.
This is a key role in driving cost efficiency, supplier governance, and financial transparency while supporting business continuity and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier contracts, payments, and financial operations
- Negotiate supplier terms and pricing to drive cost efficiency
- Monitor supplier performance and financial health
- Oversee supplier onboarding and financial due diligence
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records
- Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, and business units
- Lead supplier finance reviews and provide actionable insights
- Support budgeting and forecasting for supplier costs
- Drive continuous improvement across supplier finance processes
- Act as escalation point for supplier finance issues
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and controls
- Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews
- Track financial risks and ensure mitigation actions are in place
- Produce reports, dashboards, and performance insights
- Support contract renewals and supplier scope changes
Experience & Knowledge
Essential:
- Experience in supplier finance, procurement finance, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of financial governance and compliance
- Experience managing contracts, payments, and financial due diligence
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting capability
Desirable:
- Experience in regulated or financial services environments
- Experience with ERP or finance systems
