Datacentre Engineer (SAN)

Enterprise Datacentre Storage Engineer - 8 months+ - Umbrella £450-£500 p/d - Hybrid UK wide base locations

We're looking for an experienced SAN Engineer to support enterprise-scale datacentre operations, migrations, and evergreen initiatives.

Office base locations available: London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh

To apply you should have the following skills & experience:

• 7-10 years in Enterprise Storage Administration
• Must have experience, be comfortable working in complex, live enterprise datacentre environments and critical infrastructure as a SAN engineer
• Proven experience with storage migrations and data migration tools (Cirrus or equivalent)
• Strong background in design, planning, and implementation of storage solutions
• Hands-on with Dell VMAX/PowerMax, Pure, and HP storage
• Expertise in SAN environments including Cisco & Brocade Switches
• Experience with SRDF replication, TimeFinder Snap/Clone
• VSANs, ISLs, NPIV, LSANs, Logical Fabrics
• Tools: SYMCLI, Unisphere, Cisco DCNM
• Strong troubleshooting and performance analysis skills
• Experience with Director-class Brocade Switches
• Knowledge of automation/Scripting (Python preferred) is a plus
