AI Engineer / Backend Software Engineer (C# Python AI) London / WFH to 100kAre you a backend focussed Software Engineer with a deep knowledge of software engineering best practices and system design combined with a strong knowledge of AI agentic development?
You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on AI Engineer role a global reinsurance group, building the technology platform behind a diverse portfolio of insurance products used across its international businesses.
The technology team is small, agile and heavily focused on greenfield development, giving you the opportunity to have real influence over architecture, engineering practices and how AI is embedded into the software development lifecycle.
As an AI Engineer, you'll be an individual contributor working primarily on backend and cloud-native development. A major part of the role will be exploring how AI can improve both engineering productivity and the products themselves - using tools such as Claude alongside strong software design principles, patterns and engineering best practice.
Location / WFH:You'll join colleagues in plush City offices with onsite gym and barista, three days a week, with flexibility to work from home the other two days.
About you:
