You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.

As a Data Architect you'll define how data is organised, governed and used across the firm, setting the principles, standards, patterns and target states that shape major data decisions. Collaborating across Investment, Business and Technology teams, you'll provide architectural direction across key data initiatives and ensure the firm's data landscape supports strategic business and investment objectives.

You'll define and evolve enterprise data architecture, maintaining architectural views of key domains, data products, flows and assets. You'll establish standards covering data modelling, metadata, lineage, master and reference data and data quality, while providing guidance on how data should be sourced, integrated, stored and consumed across operational and analytical use cases. A key focus will be ensuring data is structured and governed for reliable AI and analytics consumption, with the quality, metadata, lineage and context required to support effective use. You'll work closely with delivery teams, architects and platform engineering to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance and wider technology strategy.

You'll also identify opportunities to simplify the data landscape, reduce duplication and improve consistency across platforms, applications and reporting environments. This is a high impact role with genuine influence over the firm's data direction, working close to the business while shaping the architecture that enables it. Location / WFH:There's a hybrid work from home policy with three days in the London office per week where you'll join a supportive, diverse team environment with a large range of facilities.

About you:

You have significant experience in data architecture, within an Asset Management environmentYou have a strong understanding of investment, client, operational, regulatory and enterprise dataYou have a strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture, including domains, data products, modelling, integration, lineage, metadata and data lifecycle managementYou have hands-on experience designing and governing modern cloud data platforms, ideally Snowflake and DBT, including data modelling, transformation, access, cost and workload managementYou have experience of collaborating with business, architecture and technology teams to shape data architecture and align with wider strategyYou have a good understanding of data quality and practical approaches to improving trust in dataYou have experience of navigating complex application, integration and data landscapes, with a focus on simplification and consistencyYou have excellent communication, facilitation and influencing skills, with the confidence to hold senior stakeholders accountableYou are degree educated, having achieved a 2.1 or above from a top tier university, e.g. Russel Group / OxbridgeWhat's in it for you: Salary to 150kPensionPrivate medical insurance including 24 hour GP accessEnhanced parental leave policy25 days annual leaveOngoing training and development and financial support for courses Apply now to find out more about this Data Architect (Snowflake DBT) opportunity.
