This is an amazing opportunity to join at team that is designing and building production-grade Azure platforms that run critical services!

A Microsoft Azure Solutions Partner, this organisation works with major enterprise clients across public and private sectors. They don’t just deliver cloud for the sake of it, they engineer for outcomes: simplifying infrastructure, modernising systems, and shaping long-term value.

Now they’re hiring an Azure Platform Engineer to do what they do best: secure, scalable, production-ready Azure infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design and deliver robust infrastructure -Build secure, scalable, and resilient Azure environments using Terraform and Bicep, aligned to enterprise-grade standards.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code at scale - Develop reusable automation templates and IaC practices that ensure consistency, efficiency, and version control across deployments.
  • Lead Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments - Deliver enterprise-scale AVD solutions, including image management, scaling strategies, FSLogix configuration, and access policies.
  • Support complex Azure migration programmes- Contribute to cloud migration projects from initial discovery and assessment through to execution and post-migration optimisation.
  • Integrate security and governance from the outset - Embed best practice controls across Azure Policy, RBAC, Conditional Access, NSGs, firewalls, and broader governance frameworks.
  • Deploy operational tooling and observability - Implement and tune monitoring solutions with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel. Provide support for incident resolution and escalations.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation - Create clear, concise artefacts including low-level designs, runbooks, and operational guides—fit for both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement - Stay up to date with evolving Azure technologies and best practices, sharing knowledge and helping to elevate engineering standards across the team.

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience delivering Azure infrastructure in real-world, enterprise settings.
  • Confident working with Terraform (or Bicep), Azure native services, and governance best practices.
  • Strong grasp of AVD, including optimisation and enterprise deployment models.
  • A mindset for security, automation, and making things easier to operate—not just shiny in a demo.
  • Comfortable collaborating across teams and speaking plainly with clients.
