Microsoft Alliance Manager

Alliance & Partner Manager – Microsoft + Strategic Alliances

£60–70k base + Bonus | UK-wide (Remote) | Permanent

This is your chance to join a Microsoft-aligned consultancy with growth in their DNA... helping customers accelerate secure, scalable transformation through the power of the Microsoft Identity and Security solutions.

Now they're building out their alliance and partner function, connecting the dots between Microsoft, strategic partners, and customers to drive repeatable pipeline and measurable growth.

If you know the Microsoft Partner model, live inside co-sell, and love turning relationships into revenue, this is your platform to make real impact.

The Opportunity

You'll own the Microsoft Partner relationship as well exploring 2–3 new strategic alliances across the ISV/Distributor/Partner ecosystem.

Your goal? Create repeatable, sourced and influenced pipeline through stronger GTM collaboration, funded plays, and faster routes to revenue.

You'll design, launch, and scale alliances that actually convert, aligning Sales, Marketing, and Microsoft teams behind a shared rhythm of activity.

The Role

  • Own the Microsoft Partner relationship, working closely with regional PDMs, BDMs, and digital sales centres to unlock ECIF, Solution Plays, and field momentum.
  • Manage Partner Center hygiene - Solution Designations, listings, references, incentives, and marketplace readiness.
  • Drive CPOR (Claiming Partner of Record) and PAL (Partner Admin Link) processes to ensure Microsoft accurately attributes customer consumption and partner influence.
  • Run co-funded campaigns and workshops with ECIF/Co-op support.
  • Report on sourced/influenced pipeline, ECIF/MDF utilisation, and ROI to senior leadership.

What They're Looking For

  • Former Microsoft PDM/CSM or Partner/Alliances Manager within an MSP, SI, or ISV.
  • Hands-on experience with Partner Center, Solution Plays, Designations, ECIF, MDF, CPOR, and PAL workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft SMC/SMB segmentation, partner-led routes, and opportunity mechanics.
  • Track record of co-sell motions and funded GTMs that produced measurable pipeline and closed-won influence.
  • Confident communicator who can align Sales, Marketing, and Microsoft field teams behind one rhythm.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft incentive models and Partner Programme performance metrics.
  • Existing network within Microsoft SMC/SMB teams or alliance partners.

Why Apply

  • Green-field impact: build and prove the Microsoft SMC/SMB alliance motion from day one.
  • Real accountability: own pipeline, CPOR/PAL influence, ECIF spend, and GTM ROI.
  • Microsoft adjacency: co-sell aligned offers, verified listings, faster cycles, stronger references.
  • Progression path: chance to grow into Head of Alliances as the function scales.
  • Support: work with a proven Microsoft consultancy delivering Entra, Security, and Data solutions across enterprise and public sector.

If you get energy from turning relationships into measurable pipeline, know how to make co-sell work in the real world, and want to shape the next chapter of a Microsoft-aligned growth story... this is where you'll do your best work.
