This opportunity sits within a high growth, PE backed cloud and managed services provider operating at the premium end of the market. The business specialises in delivering enterprise cloud transformation, managed services and consumption based infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.
They are looking for a new business focused Business Development Manager who can open doors, build senior relationships and close meaningful cloud and managed services deals.
This is a consultative, solutions led sales role focused on winning new enterprise customers and positioning long term cloud partnerships. You will engage senior technology and business leaders, uncover strategic transformation initiatives and shape commercial solutions across public cloud, private cloud and cloud based managed services.
The sales organisation is mature and well structured with clear territories, strong presales capability and leadership that understands enterprise selling. This is not about pushing products or transactional deals. It is about winning and developing strategic cloud relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and close new enterprise business across cloud and managed services solutions
- Lead consultative sales engagements around public cloud, private cloud and as a service infrastructure solutions
- Build and develop C suite and senior technology relationships within enterprise organisations
- Identify strategic cloud transformation opportunities and shape long term solutions
- Run structured discovery conversations to uncover technical and commercial drivers
- Develop and execute account pursuit strategies for new logo acquisition
- Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and decision makers
- Work closely with presales and technical architects to design compelling cloud solutions
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate revenue forecasting
Ideal Experience
- Proven experience in new business sales within a cloud provider, MSP or IT services organisation
- Track record of closing enterprise cloud or managed services deals
- Experience selling cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud, private cloud, infrastructure as a service or cloud based managed services
- Strong consultative and solutions led sales approach
- Comfortable engaging C suite and senior technology stakeholders
- Highly inquisitive with the ability to uncover complex customer challenges
- Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate long and complex enterprise sales cycles
