This opportunity sits with a leading Microsoft Solutions Partner that is investing heavily in its Data & AI practice. The business has scaled significantly in recent years and now has a clear focus on driving growth across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, and the wider Data & AI portfolio.

This is an overlay specialist role created to accelerate adoption and revenue across these solution areas. You will sit alongside Account Directors and technical teams, bringing deep product expertise into customer conversations and helping shape how Microsoft Data & AI lands across the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert and overlay sales lead across Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Foundry, and the broader Data & AI portfolio
  • Partner with Account Directors to build and execute go to market plans within existing accounts
  • Identify whitespace, qualify opportunities, and influence pipeline development across multiple territories
  • Lead customer presentations, demos and workshops that bring the business value to life, not just the tech
  • Work closely with pre sales and solution architects to shape proposals and ensure solutions are deliverable
  • Align Microsoft Data & AI solutions to customer priorities throughout the sales cycle
  • Stay close to Microsoft's roadmap, the competitive landscape and wider industry trends
  • Track pipeline influence, sales performance and customer engagement, and feed insight back to product and marketing

Ideal Experience

  • Five or more years in technology sales, with at least two years in an overlay, specialist or solution sales role
  • Proven track record influencing enterprise sales cycles and driving adoption of Microsoft Data & AI solutions
  • Strong working knowledge across the Microsoft Data & AI portfolio, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Foundry, spanning data engineering, data security and agentic AI
  • Comfortable operating as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders
  • Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident collaborating across sales, pre sales, marketing and vendor teams to land joined up customer outcomes

Microsoft Certifications (Desirable)

  • AI-900: Azure AI Fundamentals (or AI-901, the refreshed version replacing AI-900 from 30 June 2026)
  • DP-900: Azure Data Fundamentals, which now covers Microsoft Fabric
  • AB-900: Microsoft 365 Copilot and Agent Administration Fundamentals
  • AB-730: AI Business Professional
  • AB-731: AI Transformation Leader
