This is a presales hire with a leading UK Microsoft Solutions Partner that holds recognised credentials in the Microsoft Security ecosystem, including MISA membership. The business is in a clear growth phase, doubling down on its data, AI, cloud and security capability, with Purview sitting right at the centre of that investment.
The role is focused on shaping and winning new Purview opportunities across both new logos and the existing customer base. You will work alongside sales and delivery to scope, design and propose solutions that solve real data security, governance and compliance problems, acting as the trusted technical voice in front of customers.
It is a strong fit for someone currently in a professional services or consultancy role delivering Purview projects who wants to apply that hands on knowledge earlier in the customer journey. Candidates already in a presales role with a Purview focus will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical side of Purview opportunities from qualification through to close
- Lead solution design and HLD work across information protection, DLP, insider risk, data governance and compliance use cases
- Respond to RFIs, RFPs and tender submissions with clear, commercially sound technical content
- Run customer workshops and discovery sessions to uncover real requirements and translate them into Purview based solutions
- Partner with sales on opportunity strategy, qualification and positioning
- Work closely with delivery and consultancy teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic, deliverable and aligned to customer outcomes
- Contribute to wider security propositions where Purview overlaps with the broader Microsoft Security stack
Ideal Experience
- Strong hands on background in Microsoft Purview, ideally gained through professional services or consultancy delivery
- Solid grasp of information protection, DLP, insider risk management, data governance and compliance scenarios
- Comfortable producing HLDs, leading workshops and writing high quality RFI, RFP and tender responses
- Existing presales experience with a Purview focus is equally welcomed
- Broader knowledge of the Microsoft Security stack is highly valuable, including Defender (XDR, for Endpoint, for Cloud, for Identity, for Office 365), Entra, Sentinel and MXDR propositions
- Confident engaging with technical contacts and senior stakeholders across customer organisations
- Commercially aware, with an understanding of how solution design translates into delivery and value
- Happy to work in a hybrid pattern with travel where the opportunity warrants it
