Senior Azure Consultant

Senior Azure Consultant

💰 Up to £80,000 + bonus

📍 Hybrid working with a few days per month in the London office.

Company & role

This opportunity sits with a leading IT solutions provider and Microsoft partner, known for delivering complex cloud transformation programmes across a diverse customer base.

You will join an established consulting practice focused on Azure, working across a mix of migration and cloud native engagements. This is a hands on consulting role where you will both deliver high quality solutions and play a key part in shaping customer outcomes.

You will operate as a senior voice within project teams, leading smaller engagements or contributing to larger programmes, while mentoring junior consultants and helping elevate the wider team.

Why This Role Stands Out

This is a proper consulting role, not a ticket factory. You will be trusted to own your work, influence technical direction and build meaningful client relationships.

The work is varied. One week you could be leading an Azure migration, the next designing cloud native solutions using modern services.

You will be surrounded by strong Azure talent, giving you the chance to sharpen your skills while also stepping into a more senior, influential position.

There is also genuine flexibility built in, with limited travel expectations and a focus on outcomes rather than presenteeism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality Azure consulting services across infrastructure and cloud native solutions
  • Lead or contribute to small and medium sized engagements
  • Design and implement Azure environments aligned to best practice
  • Support and execute cloud migration projects using structured approaches such as the Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Engage with both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development
  • Stay current with Azure services and emerging technologies

Ideal Experience

  • Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment
  • Strong hands on Azure experience across core services such as Entra, networking, storage and migration tools
  • Exposure to cloud native services such as AKS, Functions, App Services or Azure databases
  • Proven experience delivering Azure migration projects
  • Understanding of governance and management tools such as Azure Policy, Arc or Cost Management
  • Experience with infrastructure as code such as Bicep or ARM is beneficial
  • Azure Administrator certification is essential, with Solutions Architect certification desirable

This is a great step for someone who enjoys being close to the tech but also wants more ownership, more influence and a stronger voice in how projects are delivered.
