Principal Architect
I am supporting a client seeking a Principal Compensation Architect with deep expertise in Workday Core and Advanced Compensation and global compensation frameworks. They are a large manufacturing organisation (50,000+ employees) operating in over 60 countries, and have a number of Workday projects planned for this upcoming year.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have hands-on experience setting up compensation plans and payroll integrations in 50+ countries
- Know the Advanced Compensation merit process “inside and out”
- Design and implement advanced compensation structures across multiple jurisdictions
- Integrate compensation systems with payroll and HR platforms
- Shape global compensation strategy in a complex, multi-country enterprise
- Operate within large-scale manufacturing environments at global scale (60+ countries)
- Ensure compliance with regional compensation requirements and best practices
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to drive strategic compensation outcomes
Experience Required
- Extensive Workday Advanced Compensation configuration expertise
- Proven track record of global compensation plan design (50+ countries)
- Payroll integration experience across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience in large organisations (50K+ employees) and multi-country operations
- Deep understanding of compensation governance and merit processes
- Strategic problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills
Location & Working Model
- Fully remote role
- Global remit with multi-jurisdiction exposure
- Must be comfortable collaborating across US and global time zones.
