Salary up to £105,000 + Benefits

We are looking for experienced Senior and Lead Platform Engineers who enjoy tackling complex infrastructure challenges and building secure, scalable, production-ready platforms to join our clients multi award winning engineering first practice.

You’ll play a key role in shaping platform strategy, influencing architectural decisions, and guiding engineering teams as they deliver critical digital services with the public sector.

Role & Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable platforms for critical services.
• Create AWS landing zones, itOps workflows and internal developer platforms that empower teams.
• Modernise legacy estates into cloud-native architectures.
• Improve observability, reliability and performance across complex environments.
• Lead workshops, influencing design decisions and setting engineering standards.
• Coach engineers and contributing hands-on to code, design and problem-solving.

Tech You’ll Work With

AWS, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Terraform, GitOps, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, CI/CD, DevSecOps, event-driven automation, FinOps.
