About Cloudathlete
Cloudathlete is a growing sports technology platform working with national governing bodies, federations, and clubs to modernise how sport is delivered and managed. As the platform scales, we are formalising how we deliver projects, onboard clients, and maintain strong day-to-day relationships.
This role exists to take ownership of delivery and client operations, allowing senior leadership to focus on strategy, partnerships, and growth.
About the role
This is a part-time, senior-responsibility role for someone who enjoys running projects, being client-facing, and bringing structure to complex digital work – without the overhead of corporate PM frameworks.
The successful candidate will be working for and will national and international sports organisations and will be key to the smooth delivery of Cloudathlete deployments.
You will be trusted to own defined areas of delivery independently within agreed guardrails.
This is not an admin role and not a junior project management position.
We are open to discussing different part-time patterns and will agree compensation that reflects responsibility and experience.
Key responsibilities
Delivery & project ownership
- Own day-to-day delivery of Cloudathlete client projects once scope and direction are agreed
- Maintain clear milestones, timelines, and dependencies
- Track risks and blockers, escalating early and clearly
- Coordinate internal contributors and external partners
- Ensure projects progress smoothly without constant senior intervention
Client relationships & communication
- Act as first point of contact for live Cloudathlete clients
- Run regular check-ins, status calls, and update communications
- Translate client needs into clear delivery actions
- Build confidence and trust through clarity and follow-through
Demos & onboarding
- Deliver structured product demos using agreed narratives
- Support onboarding, setup, and training activities
- Capture client feedback and identify improvement or expansion opportunities
- Feed insights back into product and leadership discussions
Internal contribution
- Help refine light-touch delivery processes as the platform scales
- Contribute to documentation and repeatable ways of working
- Support occasional cross-group work where Cloudathlete intersects with the wider Rocca group (clearly scoped)
What this role is not
- You will not own sales targets or close deals
- You will not negotiate pricing or contracts
- You will not define product roadmap or strategy alone
- You will not be buried in heavy PM tooling or bureaucracy
Who this role is for

- Can operate confidently with partial information
- Communicates clearly and pragmatically
- Wants a part-time role without sacrificing seniority or impact

There is potential to increase hours or scope as Cloudathlete continues to grow, but no expectation to do so.
Why join Cloudathlete?
