Office Assistant

Office Assistant

About us

Cloudscape IT is a London Bridge-based managed service provider (MSP). We look after the technology that keeps our clients running - from day-to-day IT support to security and cloud services. We are a close-knit team that takes pride in doing things properly and we are growing.

We are looking for a Junior Office Administrator to be the welcoming first point of contact for our clients and to keep the office running smoothly. This is a great opening for someone organised, personable and curious about technology who wants to build a varied career, not just fill a desk.

The role

This is a hands-on, people-facing role at the heart of our operation. No two days look quite the same. You will be answering calls, logging support tickets, organise company events, coordinating equipment and deliveries - generally making sure the office and our clients are well looked after.

Importantly, this role is a starting point. As you grow into the business and develop your skills, there is real scope to move into areas such as sales support, operations support, digital marketing and social media management. We will support the right person in finding where they want to take their career.

Key responsibilities
  • Answering incoming calls and acting as a friendly, professional first point of contact for clients
  • Logging support tickets accurately and passing them to the right people
  • Coordinating deliveries to clients, arranging couriers and tracking shipments
  • Managing hardware warranties, returns and RMAs (returns to suppliers)
  • Keeping equipment and stock organised and accounted for
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • General administrative duties, including filing, correspondence and supplier liaison
  • Helping out across the wider team as the business grows
What we are looking for

Essential

  • A genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn
  • 5 days per week in the office in London Bridge
  • The ability to pick things up quickly in a fast-moving, tech-focused environment
  • Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
  • Well organised, with good attention to detail
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to muck in
  • Reliable, professional and comfortable speaking with clients
  • Confident with everyday computer software (email, documents, spreadsheets)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an office, administrative or customer-facing role
  • An interest in any of: IT support, sales, marketing or social media

No formal IT qualifications are required - attitude, curiosity and a willingness to learn matter most.

Where this role can lead

We want to invest in someone who wants to grow with us. Depending on your interests and strengths, this position can open doors into:

  • Sales support - helping the team manage quotes, proposals and client relationships
  • Operations support - operational support with our internal processes and systems
  • Digital marketing - campaigns, content and our online presence
  • Social media management - building and running our channels

You will be given the support and training to develop in the direction that suits you.

What we offer
  • Competitive salary
  • Pension scheme
  • A varied role with genuine progression opportunities
  • A friendly, supportive team and a chance to learn from experienced IT professionals
  • Annual training budget
