Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Build and maintain robust data models, including star schema and reusable datasets
  • Transform and prepare data using Power Query (M)
  • Develop measures and calculations using DAX
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including Excel, SharePoint, APIs, and databases
  • Support automation of data processes using Power Automate
  • Apply best practice in data governance, performance optimisation, and usability
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant degree or industry certification in a related field
  • Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop and Service)
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data architecture principles
  • Experience using DAX and Power Query
  • Experience working with multiple data sources (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, SQL, APIs)
  • Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Power Apps
  • Knowledge of Python for APIs and web data extraction
  • Exposure to data strategy development
  • Experience working in client-facing or programme delivery environments

Benefits

  • Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 (dependent on experience)
  • 28 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays

Essential Requirements

  • Must either hold or be able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
