User Experience Designer

At Cocentric, we’re scaling Connect – our SaaS platform built to simplify workforce access, provisioning, and digital identity. From automated onboarding to secure SSO and real-time data integrations, Connect is helping frontline organisations empower their people at scale.

We’re looking for a UX Designer to shape the end-to-end experience of the Connect platform. You’ll work with product, engineering, customer insight and architecture – designing intuitive workflows that make complex identity and access processes feel simple for frontline teams.

This is a hands‐on, high‐impact design role for someone who thrives in fast‐moving product environments, loves solving real user problems, and is motivated by building a platform used by thousands of employees across a variety of industries.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design the Connect platform experience

  • User experience and user interface design for key areas of the Connect platform – from user flows and interaction design to prototyping and usability testing.
  • Translate complex provisioning, identity and workforce access requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.
  • Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI that communicate solutions clearly.
  • Work with product lead, clients and wider business stakeholders to shape requirements, define problems, and explore the best experience-led solutions.

Collaborate across product and engineering

  • Partner with software engineers, QA and architects to ensure designs are technically feasible, scalable, and implemented with quality.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Connect design system and ensure consistency across the platform.
  • Work closely with customer success and consulting teams to understand real-world usage and pain points.

User research and insights

  • Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions with frontline workers, managers and system admins.
  • Turn insights into actionable improvements and validate concepts through iterative testing.
  • Advocate for the user and ensure human-centred design is embedded throughout the product development cycle.

Design quality and delivery

  • Prepare design specifications, documentation and assets for engineering handoff.
  • Ensure accessibility, clarity and simplicity are built into every part of the product.
  • Support continuous iteration of features based on usage data, research and feedback.

Support wider client projects

  • Support the consulting team with UX and UI design for custom development projects.
  • Contribute to the design of tailored solutions such as intranets, operational solutions, workflow modules, and partner‐specific extensions.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, engineers and team leads to understand client needs and translate them into intuitive designs.
  • Produce user journeys, wireframes and prototypes for bespoke implementations while ensuring they align with Cocentric’s design standards.
  • Support design reviews, provide assets for build, and ensure a smooth handover into development during custom project delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Proven experience designing digital products, ideally in SaaS, B2B or complex workflow environments.
  • Strong skills in UX design, interaction design and prototyping (Figma preferred).
  • Ability to simplify complexity – turning technical requirements into intuitive, user‐centric experiences.
  • Experience working end‐to‐end: from discovery and research through to detailed UI and design QA.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence collaborating with engineers, product managers and technical stakeholders.
  • A portfolio showcasing structured thinking, strong user flows, and high‐quality design execution.
  • Bonus: experience designing for identity/access management, HR tech, workflow automation, or internal tools.
