Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer
Step into our elite Enterprise AI division as a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer. You’ll embed directly with Global 2000 partners to bring frontier AI models into their core operations. You will build the same advanced, stateful agentic systems as top-tier applied AI teams, combining elite engineering with exceptional stakeholder communication to drive massive, tangible impact on the world's most complex businesses.
📍 Location: 2-3 days per week onsite in the North London office.
What You'll Own:
⏱️ Lead dynamic, 6-week delivery cycles using the FDE methodology. You’ll embed closely with client teams, acting not just as an engineer, but as a trusted technical partner helping them solve their most frustrating operational bottlenecks using multi-agent swarms.
🏗️ Architect and deploy stateful agentic workflows end-to-end, including MCP servers, custom sub-agents, and tool-use pipelines connected to SAP, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
🌉 Bridge frontier reasoning models (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT) with legacy enterprise systems, owning the integration model from VNet peering through to InfoSec and DLP clearance.
🤝 Run daily, collaborative sessions with client Subject Matter Experts. You’ll act as the bridge between human intuition and machine logic, helping non-technical staff define constitutional boundaries and standing up real-time RLHF loops together.
🛡️ Build deterministic guardrails, programmatic evals, and CI/CD pipelines for non-deterministic model outputs, not just process compliance.
🗣️ Act as the technical diplomat across Microsoft, Anthropic, and AWS. You will lead high-stakes conversations, seamlessly translating complex AI architectures and risk mitigation strategies into clear, commercial language for client procurement, legal, and C-suite review boards.

You Must Have:
→ Significant experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or senior Technical Solutions Architect on enterprise programmes. You thrive in client-facing environments, possess high emotional intelligence, and genuinely enjoy the human side of solving complex technical puzzles.
→ Expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and Python applied in production, including distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and stateful application design.
→ Hands-on experience building agentic systems on OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, including tool-use, function calling, and Model Context Protocol implementation.
→ Deep working knowledge of Azure (AI Foundry, App Services, Container Apps, VNet peering) and/or AWS (Bedrock, ECS, Lambda) applied in real deployments.
→ Vector databases and advanced RAG architectures (Pinecone, CosmosDB Vector, or Qdrant), including chunking strategies and embedding model selection. We need someone who can thoughtfully design and debate these architectures with the team, not just consume them.
→ OAuth 2.0, SAML, Entra ID, and RBAC for LLM tool execution, applied to real enterprise integration requirements.
→ Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Power Automate for low-code agent orchestration, plus Microsoft Graph API.
→ Exceptional Communication Skills: You possess the rare ability to tailor your message to your audience. You are equally comfortable debating deep technical architecture with engineering teams as you are presenting strategic roadmaps and business value to non-technical executive stakeholders.
